My process moved from a recruiter call into a manager call, then into a live coding interview, and finally into a virtual onsite that had four interviews.

During the onsite, I went through two live coding interviews, one system design interview, and a final interview again with the engineering manager in a behavioral format.

The standout detail for me was how much higher the standard felt for the live coding interviews during the onsite compared with the first live coding interview earlier in the process. The first coding round didn’t prepare me for how much harder they pushed once I was in the onsite portion.

I didn’t get an offer. Honestly, I felt the live coding expectations escalated quickly, and that gap made the overall experience feel
