My coding and system design interviews were easy to medium, and overall the technical portion didn’t feel overly threatening.

But the hiring manager interview was a different story—it felt weird and detached. The manager seemed like they were reading from a script and didn’t show much interest.

I also noticed that the hiring manager didn’t ask much that was tied to my resume or background. That lack of personal engagement made the round feel less like a true conversation and more like a formality.

I didn’t get an offer. The technical interviews felt reasonable, but the hiring manager round left me with the impression that the fit conversation wasn’t actually happening.
