Affirm Product Manager interview experience

Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I was specifically trying to understand what the case interview rounds looked like, since I knew there were two case portions.

The part that stuck with me was how much of the process hinged on case-style questions, and how different that felt from typical role interviews.

I focused on figuring out the shape of the prompts and how they expected me to reason through them. Even without having the full details in hand, knowing there were two case rounds meant I approached the process expecting problem-solving rather than just discussing past work. The experience felt less about memorizing answers and more about showing how I broke down ambiguity and communicated my thinking under time pressure.
