The recruiter reached out first and set me up with an appointment to meet the client, and they also sent an interview preparation kit ahead of time.

The actual client interview was described as a one-hour process, and the questions were split between HR and technical topics based on my previous experience.

After that hour, the timeline was pretty clear: I would receive feedback in about a week if I was selected. The structure itself felt organized—kit sent, scheduled meeting, defined time—so even though I didn’t end up receiving an offer, it at least felt like there was a real process behind the scenes. The biggest lasting memory was how predictable the pacing was, compared to the more chaotic recruiter experiences I’d had elsewhere.
