I went through an interview with an associate that began with the basics: they talked with me about my previous work experience.

The conversation also covered challenges I’d faced and how I had worked through them.

After that, I took an assessment test. It was designed to check my technical knowledge of programming language concepts and my understanding of frameworks. The difficulty here felt average, and the structure was pretty clear—background discussion first, then a more skills-based measurement.

I didn’t get an offer, but I felt like the process was at least trying to evaluate both how I think through problems and whether I had the technical foundation for the role.
