First I spoke with an Aerotek recruiter in what felt like an initial round to figure out what contract job would be the right fit.

Once that fit conversation was done, I moved on to speak with the hiring manager.

Overall it was an easy experience, and the interview flow sounded simple and direct—less about extensive technical questioning and more about matching my background to what they needed. After the hiring manager conversation, I didn’t end up with an offer, but it didn’t feel like I was facing a difficult or combative process.
