My experience started with a preliminary recruiter conversation for a position at another company.

The recruiter was genuinely transparent and helpful, and the call itself felt smooth and positive. I didn’t have the sense that I was being grilled or tested—more that we were aligning on fit and expectations.

Honestly, it felt very easy to get through, and the tone stayed encouraging throughout. I ended the conversation hopeful because the recruiter came across as clear about what was next and what our discussion was for. I never ended up with an offer, but the way it went left me feeling optimistic rather than stressed.
