I did a fully virtual interview and the interviewer was really nice from the start.

The conversation opened like a typical screening where I introduced myself and explained why I wanted to work at 1Password. From there, it shifted into a resume review where they talked through my background and the projects I’d listed.

What stood out is that it was entirely behavioral—there were no technical questions and no coding. I felt like I could speak naturally and wasn’t trying to “perform” under a technical problem, which made the whole call feel low-pressure even though it still mattered.

Overall it was an easy, standard-style conversation, and I left with a positive impression
