After applying, I ended up doing a pretty straightforward multi-step process that stretched a bit over a couple of weeks.

The first touch was with HR for about half an hour, mostly fairly general questions. Then I met with my future manager and a senior person on the team for around an hour, where the tone shifted into more technical questions based on my background. The last step was another manager from a different team for about an hour too, mixing technical and general discussion. There was no fast turnaround either—I felt like I was waiting on timing more than anything else.

In another stretch of the process, I also remember a recruiter call as the initial step, followed later by a technical conversation.
