I kept running into the same frustrating theme: the process started politely, but communication didn’t land when it mattered. I had an initial call with a recruiter and then it moved into a screen with a hiring manager. After that, I waited. I followed up and didn’t get any real acknowledgement—no clear next step, just silence.
In a few separate moments, I was told I’d hear back after resume review or after the next stage, but the updates never came in a useful way. When I finally received a response, it was basically a rejection after the fact, including at least one automatic message, and in another situation I was contacted by text to say I hadn’t gotten the role. The overall feel was especially disappointing because everything leading up to the waiting period felt like there was a genuine interest in my background, and then the door closed without much closure.

My early steps were pretty clean and easy to follow. The process began with a recruiter phone screen where I answered straightforward questions like my education level and why I wanted to work for Zoetis. It felt like they were confirming the basics and fit quickly.
After that, I moved into a Zoom interview. I was told at the start to use the STAR format, and I had two managers interview me. The questions were typical behavioral-style prompts connected to the role, and the overall vibe was fairly manageable rather than intense.

The interview process typically consists of a recruiter screening, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and other team members, often culminating in a practical assessment like a mock sales call or a project presentation. Candidates should be prepared for multiple rounds, including panel interviews that assess both fit and execution capabilities.
