I had been asked to walk through my experience in a structured way, including examples tied to what the role needed, and I expected the evaluation to reflect my specifics. Instead, the written feedback I received highlighted things like poor structure, poor communication, or gaps around data/KPI orientation and technical capability—even when the discussion had covered those areas in detail. When I followed up, it also took far longer than promised to hear anything back, and my messages weren’t answered, which made the process feel less like an assessment and more like a subjective box-ticking exercise.
