Omaze was founded in 2012 by Matt Pohlson and Ryan Cummins, to combat what they saw as inefficiencies in the fundraising space. Nonprofits were being penalized for investing in top talent, marketing and tech that could exponentially increase their fundraising abilities. So they set out to launch Omaze. Omaze’s for-profit model makes these investments on charities’ behalf, and are proven to drive 2 - 10x their traditional methods.
