Everything we know about interviewing at Capsule: the process stage by stage, what each round tests, and compensation by level.
Interviewing at Capsule
What the process looks like, and what Capsule is really testing for.
Capsule runs a fairly structured loop with recruiter screens first, then role-specific interviews that include technical assessments and interaction-based checks. Across roles, you should expect both behavioral questioning and evaluation of execution, including program or project execution, time management, and active listening.
The topics data shows the core test is practical problem solving plus role-relevant communication. SQL is the top language topic, coding interviews and DS&A are highly prominent, and system design appears frequently. Product management and business analysis topics are also at the top tier, and sales roles include sales pitch and role-play style exercises.
You should also expect system-level thinking and clarity under pressure. The interview topics list includes system design and architecture and compensation transparency, so be ready to discuss tradeoffs and expectations in a direct way. Based on candidate reports, the difficulty mix is mostly medium (66.7%), with smaller portions of easy (24.4%) and hard (8.9%), and there are no reports marked very hard (0.0%).
From the question topic distribution, SQL, coding, DS&A, and program or project execution are the most consistently prominent signals across roles, so you should prepare both for problem solving and for communicating your approach clearly under time constraints.
