I applied and went through recruiter coordination, and then I had interviews with multiple levels of the hierarchy. The early steps felt normal—HR first, and then additional conversations that included at least one technical component and later rounds that leaned more toward assessing my general profile.
What really hurt the experience wasn’t the interviews as much as what happened afterward. After the set of four conversations, there was no response and none of the contacts—including the recruiter—responded to emails, even though things had seemed human and okay during the calls. The total lack of closure made it feel like my time wasn’t respected, and by the end I had essentially been left hanging.

Difficult Positive Bengaluru
What stood out immediately was how the technical interviews started. The interviewers often went straight into fundamentals—how networking works at a deep level—so I had to be able to explain concepts rather than just name them. I remember being asked to go through the OSI model in depth, with extra focus on layer 7, and I also had to describe both the TCP three-way handshake and the SSL/TLS handshake process in detail.
In another technical session, the focus shifted to coding, but still with an emphasis on correctness and explanation. I was asked to implement smart pointers in C++ inside a C++ development editor, and I had to clearly explain the differences between unique, shared, and weak pointers. I then walked through my code logic and made sure it compiled while reasoning through the behavior. Overall the difficulty felt average-to-difficult, and while the questions were clearly probing, I didn’t end up with an offer.
