You will not just be solving reactive support tickets; instead, you will act as a trusted technical advisor. Your day-to-day involves analyzing complex web traffic patterns, optimizing content delivery network (CDN) configurations, aligning security postures (such as web application firewalls and API protection), and guiding clients through architectural migrations. You will work closely with Akamai’s product engineering, sales, and enterprise support teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.
This role requires a unique blend of deep technical curiosity and exceptional communication skills. You must be comfortable explaining the nuances of the TCP/IP stack or DNS resolution to a network engineer, while simultaneously translating those technical metrics into business value for a Chief Information Officer (CIO).
