As an Engineering Manager (often operating under the title of Technical Account Manager or TAM) at AHEAD, you are the critical bridge between complex technical execution and strategic client success. AHEAD builds platforms for digital business by weaving together cloud infrastructure, automation, analytics, and software delivery. In this role, you are not just managing technology; you are managing the enterprise client’s entire IT transformation journey within our Managed Services Client Experience team.
Your impact is highly visible and directly tied to the business outcomes of our clients. You will serve as the primary technical advisor and customer advocate, guiding named enterprise clients through multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), FinOps practices, and ITIL-driven operational maturity. By understanding a client’s unique business objectives, you will identify gaps in their security and IT posture, recommend automation and integration solutions, and unlock the full value of AHEAD's managed services.
This role requires a unique blend of deep engineering expertise, strategic business acumen, and relationship-building skills. You will collaborate closely with Service Account Managers, Client Directors, and internal engineering teams to drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), manage escalations, and uncover cross-selling opportunities.
