A recruiter reached out to me after finding my profile on LinkedIn, and after a brief chat about my experience we set up a technical interview.

The technical interviewer mentioned he hadn’t been at the company very long and hadn’t had much time to prepare, which immediately made the process feel a bit uneven.

The technical portion was basically two shared coding segments. They weren’t described as brutally hard, but the whole thing felt like it could’ve been explained more clearly—small moments where I couldn’t tell what the interviewer really wanted. I left the call feeling like I hadn’t gotten a great sense of the role or the team’s priorities, even though the steps themselves weren’t intimidating.
