My experience started off like it was going to be smooth, but it quickly turned into a mess on the recruiting side.

After I applied and did the initial screening, I was told I was a strong candidate and that the hiring manager would follow up shortly.

Two weeks went by with no real movement, so I reached out to ask for an update on the interview timeline. Instead of getting clarification, I was sent an invitation to schedule another initial screening—even though I’d already completed that step. The whole thing made it feel like the recruiter hadn’t actually read my message closely, and it threw off the momentum completely.

The interviews themselves weren’t the issue so much as the process around them.
