Zendesk Software Engineer interview experience

Instead of an early phone screen or a take-home right away, the hiring manager introduced me first, and then I went through about four to five phases that included both technical and behavioral interviews with the manager and director.

I felt the interviews themselves were professional, and I passed all the rounds. The tough part was what happened after: nobody informed me about an offer or rejection for over a week, and my recruiter queries went unanswered. I eventually assumed I’d been rejected, but it never came with any closure.
