The interview itself felt average, and the recruiter’s behavior was good.

My main issue was that my preparation wasn’t where it needed to be at the time, and I got stuck on an array question during the session.

Because I couldn’t move past that topic cleanly, it shaped the outcome more than anything else. Even though the recruiter was pleasant, the coding gap was enough for me to be rejected.

I didn’t get an offer, but the experience didn’t feel disrespectful—just a reminder that one weak spot can decide the whole round when the interview is fairly skills-focused.
