I started with an HR conversation, and then I moved into a technical interview with coding-style challenges and technical questions.

The early feedback felt aligned with what I could do, but by the end I realized the fit wasn’t great.

The HR feedback pointed to a mismatch in seniority and responsibility level—they wanted someone more senior who could directly handle client conversations where there are lots of ideas and proposed solutions flying around. Since my background didn’t match that expectation closely enough, I wasn’t selected.
