My first step was an aptitude round that still included technical questions.

It was pretty long and focused: fifty questions in about an hour, written. The questions were solvable regardless of language, though Java was still preferred. After finishing that written part, I had a face-to-face discussion based on what I’d answered.

The whole stage felt mainly about how well I could solve problems rather than about a narrow set of specific topics. Then there was an HR round after that. Overall it stayed in the “easy” category for me, mostly because nothing felt overly tricky compared to the volume and structure of the written aptitude test.
