My technical conversation was short—about twenty minutes—but it was dense.

They asked me questions drawn from my project and then moved into core Java, including static-related concepts, and also SQL. The aim felt like they wanted a deep understanding rather than surface-level answers.

While the SQL query question was easy, the rest of it required more than just knowing terminology. Overall it felt difficult because of how quickly they went after the depth of my understanding, and the tone made it clear they weren’t trying to trick me so much as test whether I could reason through fundamentals.
