My interview was aligned with my experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP services, and the conversation stayed tied to what I’d done before in ETL and security-related work.

They also focused on security policy enforcement and compliance practices like GDPR and HIPAA.

We talked about security assessments and vulnerability scanning with tools like Qualys and Azure Defender. Identity and access management came up too, including how I’d implemented things like Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and MFA, along with other security engineering topics.

The overall difficulty felt easy because the questions mapped directly to my background. Even so, I didn’t receive an offer, though the interview itself felt like it matched my domain strongly.
