Bozeman, MTPosted Nov 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through an early two-call process for the Software Engineer role that felt easy, with candid recruiter and manager discussion but no offer.

Recruiter phone screen — A polite call that didn’t include challenging questions; the recruiter mentioned difficulty hiring senior engineers.
Manager interview — Another call that stayed approachable; the manager discussed team stability and company positioning. Outcome: No offer in both cases; the takeaway was an easy interview experience paired with blunt context about the hiring market.
