Workiva Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Positive

CanadaPosted Apr 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with a tight one-hour format centered on culture plus basic-but-tricky algorithm thinking, and I received an offer.

Culture + algorithms screen (about 1 hour) — I was asked culture questions and small, tricky algorithm questions that were mostly basic; there might have been an assignment component with something to finish. The process also emphasized being innovative and highlighted interest in out-of-school projects. Outcome: I got the offer, and the takeaway was that they valued problem-solving basics alongside culture and personal project experience.
