Des Moines, IAPosted Apr 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for the Software Engineer role in an easy, single-interview flow, but communication stalled after I felt I performed well.

Single interview (behavioral + technical) — One interview with easy questions; the interviewer indicated I did well.
Waiting period / lack of response — After that conversation, I experienced a two-week stretch of silence with no response.
Recruiter follow-up — When I tried to reach out, the recruiter didn’t reply to my emails. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that the technical part was straightforward, but the post-interview follow-through was poor.
