Boulder, COPosted Dec 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with an online coding test that felt misaligned, and I was rejected without even a polite follow-up.

Online coding interview (tool-based) — four interviews with three people; I used an online tool to code in Python despite not having used it before (I said so up front). I worked through Fibonacci-number style coding, then waited. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer or even a “thanks for coming,” and the experience left me frustrated about the relevance of the test to what they claimed to value.
