I experienced a harder path where a short discussion led directly into a substantial coding/homework component and then deeper problem solving.

Initial call — a brief 15-minute conversation covering topics like OOP.
Home project (2 days) — I completed a Java-based project, then defended my approach in a follow-up interview with many technical questions.
Second round (team-lead / deeper tech) — a longer Zoom interview with two team leaders.
Coding problem set — recursion-focused questions, including one maze-style problem. Outcome: No offer; the process felt demanding and oriented around sustained technical depth rather than just quick answers.
