New York, NYPosted Jul 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a long and drawn-out interview process, and I kept expecting to reach a clearer destination.

The biggest problem wasn’t only that I didn’t move on—it was what happened after I asked for an update.

Instead of getting a response that acknowledged my effort or gave me a sense of what was happening, I felt like they didn’t care about either the time I invested or even getting to know me properly. The process stretched on long enough that it made the lack of follow-through feel worse.

In the end, there was no offer. My honest reflection was that the process felt unusually one-sided, because the communication around the decision didn’t match the effort they asked for.
