I went through a short process with two interviews that were fairly quick and pretty objective, and the experience felt worse than it should’ve because the follow-up and communication dragged.

I was told I’d get a response about a week later, and there was a specific deadline tied to HR.

I ended up messaging HR multiple times to ask for an update, even asking for a clear negative if that was the decision—mostly because I wanted transparency since I genuinely wanted the opportunity. After a couple of back-and-forths where she said she was busy, one message response took days, another repeated the same thing, and one was simply seen without any reply. By the time the deadline passed without real closure, it felt like there was a serious lack of respect for my time.
