My interview process centered heavily on live coding rather than lots of conversational questions.

The main focus was on Python operations and basic statistics/probability, and the way they tested me felt like they wanted to see how I actually manipulated data rather than just talk about it abstractly.

I went into it expecting straightforward technical work, and the coding itself didn’t feel impossible, but it was still difficult in the way live sessions can be—there’s less time to get your bearings, and the interviewer’s expectations aren’t always spelled out. I also got the impression that interviewer assignment might be somewhat random, which affected how the experience felt.
