My experience was unfortunately shaped less by the technical interviews and more by compensation.

I went through an organized, pleasant process and genuinely liked the people I met. The rounds were focused on data science work and included both technical and more people-oriented components, including expectations around team or people management.

The main thing that landed poorly was the pay. After going through the effort of multiple interviews and having it feel like it was going well, I was shocked by how far below market their offer was for data science. They also wanted me to manage people, but they still couldn’t match even my current compensation.

In the end, I had to decline.
