Verizon Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through an on-site at Verizon and, honestly, the timing of how they handled follow-up was what I noticed most.

The interview was about two weeks earlier, and then I heard back the next day with news that they were planning to make me an offer.

The process itself felt fast once I reached the on-site stage, and it carried a sense that they had already formed a clear view of how I fit the role. I didn’t have to wait long to learn what it meant, and that immediate response left me feeling relieved.

My one reflection was that the last stage carried real momentum. Even though I couldn’t control how the earlier rounds went, the on-site experience ended with clarity and speed.
