ChennaiPosted Oct 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role, but the experience was derailed by scheduling issues more than technical difficulty over a roughly week-long timeline.

HR scheduling step — I got an HR call to schedule; the interview was set for about a week later.
Waiting-room failure — I joined early, waited ~25 minutes, and no one joined; after contacting HR, I was told the HR person was on medical leave.
Reschedule follow-up — I was asked to expect a reschedule, but my email follow-up got no response. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and my takeaway is that process reliability mattered as much as preparedness.
