I remember the early steps feeling fine—almost too smooth—and the conversations were friendly, but I didn’t end up getting the job.

After the initial phone-style touchpoint, I had to go through the later interview where I answered questions and tried to stick to the STAR-style flow. In my mind, the interview went okay, and I even felt close to an offer.

What ultimately stuck with me was the follow-through. I was told I’d hear back soon, and when I didn’t, I reached out and got no real answers. Eventually, things moved into silence, and even after follow-up attempts, it never turned into a clear next step.

The experience left me disappointed because the interview itself didn’t feel harsh—just somewhat under-communicated
