London, EnglandPosted Apr 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

After an initial screening with a recruiter, I moved into a case study where I had to use their platform to come up with a solution for a client scenario.

I was prepared to present my reasoning clearly, but the interaction itself threw me off.

The person conducting the interview seemed visibly distracted—looking at their phone and eating while I was walking through my solution. Even though I stayed focused on the task, the environment made it harder to feel like I was being evaluated fairly.

I didn’t get an offer. The case study part was what I expected, but the interviewer behavior made the whole round feel disrespectful and informal for something that was meant to be a serious assessment.
