My interview journey was shorter but still ended with a pretty disappointing silence around feedback.

It had three steps: first, a coding task focused on something like folder synchronization; then a first technical interview that covered about an hour of basic coding along with OS questions and networking; and finally a final interview that leaned into math and logical riddles. Live coding was part of that earlier technical stage as well.

After the last round, I was rejected and I never received any feedback. What made it sting was that I had reached the final interview stage, yet the messaging afterward didn’t feel proportionate. I was left with the sense that the process had a clear stop
