San Francisco, CAPosted Nov 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

Even though the recruiter reached out from the team I would have worked for, the experience ended up feeling shockingly unprofessional to me.

I’ve been in tech for years, so I’m used to sales interview processes, but this one stood out as the worst I’d ever been through.

At some point I realized I couldn’t see myself working under that kind of interview behavior, and I cut the process short because it wasn’t just a bad day—it was that bad. The questions and how things were handled just didn’t feel respectful.

I ended up walking away without finishing, and my honest reflection was that the process itself became the deciding factor for me, not whether I could perform.
