San Francisco, CAPosted Dec 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

At first, the interview process seemed like it would follow the same general route as other companies.

But Vanta’s process felt notably intense once it got going, especially because I was interviewing at another similar company at the same time and could really compare.

I learned quickly that preparation mattered, but adaptation mattered just as much. As the rounds progressed, the conversation required staying flexible and adjusting on the fly rather than relying purely on a rehearsed script. I didn’t end up getting the offer, but the experience made it clear that the bar was high and the process wasn’t casual.
