My interview started badly and never really recovered.

The interviewer came across as rude and pushy, and the tone felt like a school-style viva where the goal wasn’t to understand my thinking. Even after I introduced my Java 8 experience, I was repeatedly questioned about it in a short span instead of moving into a fair technical evaluation.

The technical portion turned into rapid-fire questions, and the interaction felt like I wasn’t given room to answer properly. At one point, I was asked to explain code verbally using Java 8 streams, and the conversation abruptly stopped when the interviewer decided they were done.
