The interviewer wasn’t the typical store manager setup I expected—he was a franchisee associated with multiple stores—and the conversation started with the standard “tell me about yourself.” From there, he dug into the skills and experience that were already on my resume.

What stood out was how much they wanted real-life examples tied directly to customer service and sales. The questions were often framed as “tell me about a time when,” and they pushed me to be specific—clear, direct communication mattered, and I had to show I could listen and explain myself well.
