Upwork Software Engineer interview experience

There were four interviews: first with a recruiter, then a live coding round, then a system design-style discussion, and finally a team collaboration interview.

Everything seemed to move through the steps, but once I finished, communication disappeared. I didn’t get any response, no feedback, and not even an automatic rejection email afterward.

I didn’t receive an offer, and the overall feeling was that the process ended abruptly. What stayed with me most was the silence afterward—after going through multiple rounds, the lack of closure made it feel unresolved.
