UPS Software Engineer interview experience

The interview events themselves happened as part of an on-campus placement drive, and after I’d gone through the process with the group, they ended up restricting who could be considered based on location.

They interviewed students from the campus, then decided to take only students from Chennai because the job posting was tied to Chennai. Even though the recruiting timing felt normal while it was happening, the final decision came down to geography. I didn’t get an offer, and what was frustrating was that the interview work didn’t seem to be the decisive factor by the end.
