University of Pittsburgh Research Analyst interview experience

I spoke with two research assistants via Skype, and the questions mainly probed my past experience in research and how I’d handled managing study duties. The vibe felt straightforward—more about my actual experience than anything trickier.

After the interview, I heard from the lab manager by email that I hadn’t received the position. What surprised me was the timing; I wasn’t contacted right away, and the message came much later than I expected—about two months after the interview. The process itself didn’t feel hard, but that delay in communication left a rough taste.
