I had a really positive conversation with the hiring manager, and it didn’t feel like a typical interview.

It was more like chatting about the project and how it might influence real life in the future.

Because the vibe was friendly from the start, the discussion stayed focused on the work itself rather than trying to catch me out. The questions and flow felt conversational, and the overall experience left me optimistic.

I didn’t end up getting an offer. Still, I appreciated that the process felt human and forward-looking, which made the rejection feel less personal and more like fit between what they needed and what role they were targeting.
