My process started with one initial phone screening, then moved into a behavioral interview with two managers.

After that, I had a technical timed assignment on Excel that lasted about an hour.

What I liked was that the timeline was clear and relatively tight. The whole thing took about three to four weeks, and once I finished the assignment I heard a decision fairly soon afterward.

I didn’t get an offer, but it didn’t feel like I was left hanging. The Excel assignment was the most concrete, “prove it” moment in the process, and that made the outcome feel more legible even though it wasn’t what I hoped for.
