For an Account Executive role, I hit a very difficult testing-heavy process that felt outdated and overly time-controlled.

Pre-interview testing (at home + in-office timed) — I completed multiple timed at-home tests involving random letter/number pattern work, then had to repeat similar timed testing again once I arrived.
On-site timed observation — I was timed and watched while working through additional pattern-based questions, and the format felt like it couldn’t accurately measure work ethic or intelligence. Outcome: Not selected, and my takeaway was that the testing format felt mismatched and unnecessarily intense for a sales role.
