I interviewed online for the remote role by booking a 30-minute slot after applying through Handshake.

The questions were very straightforward and mostly basic, but what really got to me was realizing I didn’t have enough depth on the company itself. A big part of the conversation drifted into why I liked UKG and whether I could speak to the company beyond surface-level familiarity.

The whole thing felt easy in terms of difficulty, and the pace matched that. Still, I remember thinking that if I’d known more beforehand, I would’ve sounded more confident about my motivation and fit.
