UBS Investment Banking Analyst interview experience

Hard

Negative

New York, NYPosted Feb 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I found the overall process disappointing for a Financial Analyst interview, mainly due to communication issues and a tense atmosphere.

Interview process (multiple stages) — the structure wasn’t clearly communicated, and parts of the process felt disengaged.
Unwelcoming tone — interviewers didn’t seem supportive, and the environment felt tense rather than collaborative. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was that unclear communication and an unfriendly interviewer vibe made the process harder than the questions themselves.
